AOTMP® Engage 2022 COVID Safety Plan
With the return to live AOTMP® events, the AOTMP® team is dedicated to ensuring a great experience and keeping you safe during any ongoing pandemic conditions.
Please see all the measures below that we will be following to ensure everyone’s safety regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Out of an overabundance of caution and safety for our attendees, we highly encourage all participants attending the event in any capacity to be vaccinated.
If You Are Sick.
If you have a temperature, are showing any potential symptoms of COVID-19, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been in close contact with anyone that has tested positive for COVID-19 within 14 days of the event then you need to stay home for the protection of all attendees. The AOTMP® team will not be conducting temperature checks at the event. If you don’t feel well, please stay home. Potential COVID-19 symptoms include:
- Fever or chills
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Muscle or body aches
- New loss of taste or smell
- Congestion or runny nose
- Nausea or vomiting
AOTMP® will be adhering to requirements determined by the venue and its local government.
Attendee Personal Comfort Level
While many at the event are vaccinated and/or not concerned about the health risks that physical touch may present, we request that attendees, speakers, staff, and sponsors respect the wishes of all attendees and watch for how they have self-identified their comfort level using color coded wrist bands.
GREEN – Handshakes, or high fives welcome!
YELLOW – Elbow or Fist bumps please.
RED – 6’ Distancing Preferred
To further protect everyone in attendance, CAN-AM has graciously provided state of the art temperature scanning kiosks which will be placed at entry points and registration.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the event. Touchless hand sanitizer stations will be available at the venue. By this point, everyone should know that hand washing is important in helping reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Seating and Spacing
Seating will be spaced with the recommended distance between attendees as determined by the venue and its local government.
Food and Beverage
We will be working with the venue to revise how food and beverage services will be provided to minimize exposure/risk.
While we strongly encourage our guests to be vaccinated, we are not requiring proof of vaccination at this time. The AOTMP® staff is fully vaccinated.
