The AOTMP® Industry Awards recognize innovation and excellence in the telecom, mobility and technology industry.

AOTMP Awards

The AOTMP® Industry Awards recognize innovation and excellence in the telecom, mobility and technology ecosystem among enterprises and vendors which positively impact the telecom environment and elevate excellence in their business.

You may self-nominate or nominate another individual, team, or vendor deserving consideration. Nominations are submitted via online application. Each application requires a written description (1000 words max) explaining why the nominee deserves the award. Case studies, examples, and illustration documents supporting the nomination are encouraged with each submission.

The judging panel will score each submission based on standardized criteria including:

  • Personal achievement and/or business impact
  • Innovation and uniqueness of solutions
  • Creativity exhibited in solving business problems

Director, Service Delivery – Ontario Systems

Heather Vaughn is a Director of Service Delivery at Ontario Systems where she leads the value delivery program for federal agency customers focused on financial, healthcare and payments industries. After two decades in leadership roles within various industries, Heather shifted careers by moving into the tech field, bridging her business leadership and technical acumen.
Heather loves building diverse collaborative teams, leaning into differences to compliment commonalities. This extends to her home and ongoing efforts to build comradery between her vocally baiting feline and her lovably jerkish canine.
Heather holds a Master of Information and Communication Sciences degree from Ball State University and BSc Criminal Justice from Indiana University

Founder & Principal – TrendzOwl

Stephen Loynd has spent his career observing the information and communications revolution spreading across the planet. Before launching TrendzOwl in September 2019, Stephen spent over seven years on the Digital Transformation team at Frost & Sullivan, where he was an analyst and featured speaker. He also spent close to seven years as an analyst at IDC, providing expertise on BPO industry trends and opportunities worldwide.

He has an M.A. from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University in Bologna, Italy and Washington, D.C., and a B.A., Phi Beta Kappa, from Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Chief of Research, Enterprise, CCS Insight

Nick McQuire has over 18 years’ experience in enterprise technology advisory services. He was formerly managing director of the Global Enterprise Mobility Alliance, a vice president at IDC and strategy executive at BT Global Services. Nick leads our enterprise research, focussing on cloud computing, machine learning, developer trends and digital workplace strategies. Often quoted in the media, he is a regular speaker at major industry events, and was named among the top five global technology analysts of 2019 and 2020 by the Institute of Industry Analyst Relations. Nick has been listed as one of the top social media influencers in artificial intelligence.

SVP and CIO Maritz (retired); President, Gateway Advisory, LLC

For 35 years, Gerry Imhoff served in increasingly senior IT roles at US Bank, Citicorp, and Maritz. He retired as SVP and CIO of Maritz in 2020. Gerry’s team deployed numerous global applications and established a hybrid cloud infrastructure that supports Maritz customers across the Fortune 100 and beyond. Gerry led his organization in reducing IT expenditures by over one-third while dramatically improving service levels and Maritz’ information security posture.

Gerry serves on several advisory boards, consults, actively mentors emerging IT leaders, and is passionate about organizational culture. He earned his BSBA and MBA from the University of Missouri.

Tim has 25+ years of technology business management and digital transformation experience working with global telecom, IT and business leaders in Fortune 500, Forbes Private 50 and public sector organizations.  His expert insights empower organizations to extract strategic business value from telecom, mobility and IT technology. 

Managing Director, StrateValue Pte Ltd

Peter Hum is the Founder and Managing Director of StrateValue Pte Ltd, a leading Asia Pacific business development firm based in Singapore. With more than 28 years of international business experience, Peter is a recognised Asia Pacific TEM subject matter expert and specialises within the fields of Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Business Analytics, Enterprise Software, and Digital Services.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialisation in Management Information Systems from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.

Principal, Joanie M. Wexler & Associates

Joanie has been educating IT about computer networking technologies for 30 years. She has served as content marketer, journalist, and research analyst for tech corporations, trade publications, industry research firms, and others. She’s steeped in the goings-on of LANs, WANs, cloud, wireless, virtualization, SDN, NFV, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and network security.

Currently an independent agent, Joanie worked for 10 years at several International Data Group publications. She was inducted into the telecom industry as managing editor of a PennWell Publishing magazine created to enlighten businesses about the promise of open telecommunications networks following AT&T’s divestiture. Ancient history to you, maybe, but the beginnings of our industry as we know it.
